Q: What does OregonAuthentic.com sell?
A: We sell University of Oregon team-issued and game-worn apparel. You have the opportunity to purchase gear worn by your favorite Oregon athletes in some of the most memorable games and meets in recent years. Sport an authentic jersey while tailgating, display a throwback helmet in your home, or frame an autographed piece of memorabilia - you decide how to show your team spirit.
Q: What does Team Issue mean?
A: A "Team issue" item is an item specifically manufactured for the University of Oregon to be issued to a member of one of its athletic teams. The item is kept in stock should it ever be required for use. Team issue items are not always issued to a specific student athlete and may be kept as a back-up should the item be required.
Q: Are these auctions auto-extending? What does auto-extending mean?
A: Yes. These auctions are auto-extending. That means that if someone places a bid in the last 5 minutes of an auction, the auction is automatically extended 300 seconds to insure all bidders have time to place their bid. This continues until only one bidder remains. This insures your item won't be purchased at the last possible second of an auction.
Q: What types of payment does OregonAuthentic.com accept?
A: As of now, OregonAuthentic.com only accepts major credit cards.
Q: Are the items on OregonAuthentic.com game used or game worn?
A: Although all items on OregonAuthentic.com are official team issue and come direct from our equipment room, we cannot verify all items are game worn or used unless specifically listed as GAME WORN or GAME USED in the title and description. A certificate of authenticity will accompany any verified game worn or game used item.
Q: Are any of the items replicas?
A: Most items have been worn on the field, track, and court, but ALL items are Oregon Official and NONE are replicas. You won’t find this merchandise anywhere else on the web. You have the opportunity to purchase gear that arrives straight at your door from our equipment room. We are authentic!
Q: What does “Buy It Now” mean?
A: This means that you can purchase an item without going through the bidding process. Bypass the crowds and receive instant gratification of knowing that item is yours. Be the envy of all your friends!
Q: When and will items be shipped?
A: Once the auction closes, merchandise will be shipped within 2 business days. A tracking number will be provided.
Q: What if I’m unhappy with the product, can I return it?
A: Unfortunately we do not accept returns. If you are the highest bidder, the item is then yours.
Q: How often will new pieces of merchandise appear on OregonAuthentic.com?
A: New items will appear on the site weekly, so check back often!
Q: How do I bid on an item?
A: Find the item you want to bid on and click "Make a bid". Now enter the highest amount you are willing to pay for the item. This amount must be more than the current highest bid.
Q: How can I see if I'm the highest bidder?
A: Items you are currently bidding on are displayed in the left hand column of the site. If you are the winning bidder there will be a thumbs up icon next to the item. Additionally on the items page you can see bid history at the bottom.
Q: How do I know if I won an item?
A: An email will be sent to you shortly after the auction ends. You will need to checkout and pay for the item within 48hrs. Also when you visit the site a red bar at the top of the screen will notify you of auctions won.
Q: How do I claim an item I won?
A: Click on the purchase link in the winning email confirmation, or click the link in the red bar at the top of the screen that notifies you of the won items to checkout. You must pay for your items within 48hrs of closing.
Q: How do I change my personal info?
A: You can change your picture, address, email, and password by visiting the profile link in the main menu, and clicking "edit personal info/password" in the left hand column.
Q: When do I have to pay for the item I won?
A: You have to checkout and pay for auction items within 48hrs of winning.
